Concept
The first half-day will focus on JA-CHRODIS work and outputs, and will explore how the outcomes of this European collaboration can be used and taken up.
The second day will focus on the bigger picture of the challenge of chronic diseases and on how to champion health policies across Europe. During the sessions, panelists and speakers will address various questions, such as how the Joint Action can fit with and benefit the EU strategy on chronic diseases, what can be done to achieve a chronic disease-free Europe, health systems sustainability and the role of policy makers in addressing the challenge of chronic diseases and ageing society.
