The First European conference on addictive behaviours and dependencies will be held in Lisbon on 23–25 September 2015. Various satellite meetings will take place on 21–22 September (details can be found here).

It’s a conference for researchers, policy makers and practitioners, bringing cutting-edge science and practice together.
The conference is organised around four general themes:
- Addictions: a multi-disciplinary perspective
- Translating research into policy and practice
- New frontiers in addiction research
- Challenges of addiction in an interconnected world
Together with papers and rapid communications, each theme will be represented by one plenary session (keynote speech or roundtable) that will be designed for a multi-disciplinary audience on a topical issue. In addition, open paper sessions will accommodate papers that do not necessarily fit within these four themes.
